Clever

First Luis was fighting with his dad, then his sister, so when dinner time came ( which is generally at about 2:30 here ) I decided not to join and remain hidden in my room. It was pretty awkward. I'm still a mortal though, so eventually got hungry and ran on an errand with Luis's sister and got her to take me through a drive through. I've had enough McDonalds and Wendy's in the good ol' U.S., so I had her take me somewhere authentically Mexican. So we went to Ricky's Tacos.

I paid five dollars and got two of the most delicious carnitas tacos ever, these bomb-ass refried beans, fries, a salad, and chips. I also got a drink. In this cup.

I love that guy in the picture. If I'm feeling down about sucking at Spanish I just need to look at how excited he is about his plate of meat and I feel so much better.

The other image of the cup says "Mmmmm.. Toltillas hechas a mano!" Mmm. Toltillas made by hand. What's a "toltilla"? You ask? Isn't it "toRtilla"? As it turns out, they're teasing the way United State-ers pronounce "tortilla". I found myself pretty entertained, I'm not gonna lie. Maybe I should have been offended, but, hey. It's funny.
